an Inspirational Horse
From an uncertain future to a racing champion - Altano's journey is at the heart of who we are. As a young thoroughbred, Altano faced serious medical challenges. He was diagnosed with a soft palate displacement and a cartilage fragment in his fetlock joint - conditions that limited his potential and led many to doubt any possibility for him as an equine athlete. But one veterinarian saw more. With expert surgery, dedicated treatment and unwavering care, Altano was given a second chance.
His strong character and the power of veterinary medicine transformed him from a patient into an internationally successful racehorse - with numerous victories in his career. Today, Altano enjoys his well-deserved retirement, but his name lives on as a symbol of our vision. For us, Altano is more than a name - he embodies the spirit of resilience, excellence, and passion for horses that drives our work every day.
