That’s why we created the Altano Academy. Just as the operating and treatment room is the heart of every clinic, the Altano Academy is the heart of our group. It brings our employees together. Numerous programs - such as the Manager Days, the Altano Clubs, an annual Pharmacists’ Day, and the Altano Future Days - have already been established to individually support the lifelong learning of every professional within the Altano teams.
Through cross-border collaboration in exchange groups and task forces, training activities are coordinated, developed, and made available to the entire group. The Altano Academy is based on three strong pillars to promote knowledge, networking and growth in our international community.

What is the Altano Academy?
The Altano Academy is our internal training platform built to provide direct access to ongoing learning and education for all employees. While the primary content is focused on veterinary medical topics, education that covers leadership, management and general business practice is equally important to fulfilling our goals and strengthening skills for all employees within our community.

Who can take part in the courses?
Most Altano Academy courses are aimed exclusively at employees of Altano. In cooperation with VetPD, we also offer training courses that are open to external veterinarians and specialists.

What topics are covered?
The offer ranges from specialist veterinary topics (e.g. orthopaedics, internal medicine, imaging), communication and leadership to practical workshops. The content is updated on an ongoing basis and is geared towards the needs of the practice.
